Reference list of the networks the ERA device supports. Use it to pick the right network under DEPOSIT and the right app under Link.

Firmware modes

ERA ships in two firmware modes. The device does not name the mode on any screen; you can tell them apart in two ways: on Bitcoin-only firmware DEPOSIT opens the Bitcoin address straight away without a network list, and SETTINGS > About Device > System version has no ERA Lens row.

Both modes use the same seed words: a wallet restored on Multichain firmware still holds the same Bitcoin. Both are official firmware builds, and you can switch between them at any time with a firmware update; see Bitcoin-only firmware for the differences and the switch. Source: era-wallet.com

What the device lists

Under DEPOSIT > CHOOSE NETWORK the Multichain firmware shows, in this order: BTC, ETH, TRX, SOL, ADA, XRP, TON, LTC, DASH, BCH, DOGE, SUI, then the two groups EVM Chains (22 Ethereum-compatible networks) and Cosmos Chains (31 Cosmos networks).

Chains

"Default derivation path" is the standard address recipe (BIP-32 path) the device uses; you only need it when an app asks for it. "Links with" lists the apps offered under Link for that network; "the app" is the ERA companion app.

Notes:

  • * is the address number. Address-0 on the deposit screen is 0, Address-1 is 1, and so on.

  • Ethereum-compatible networks share one address. Receiving on Polygon and on Ethereum uses the same 0x… address; only the network differs.

  • The Multichain profile and Generic BTC / Generic ETH entries under Link are for apps that are not in the list but accept a standard ERA link QR.

  • Stellar (XLM), Zcash (ZEC), NEAR, dYdX and Secret exist in the firmware source but are switched off in the shipping firmware, so they do not appear on the device.

  • The exact list on your device depends on the firmware version. The network picker under DEPOSIT is the source of truth; the screenshots on this page were taken on the current release configuration.
