Steps

Part 1: On the ERA

1. On the wallet screen, tap the settings icon (sliders) > Link. See Open the Link menu.

   

2. On the wallet list, tap Metamask.

   

3. On DOWNLOAD Metamask, tap the store for your phone: IOS or ANDROID.

   

4. On the store page, tap NEXT. If MetaMask is not on your phone yet, scan the store QR with your phone first.

   

5. Swipe up to the last page of CONNECT Metamask.

   

6. Tap SHOW QR.

7. QR FOR LINK appears. Leave it on screen.

   

Part 2: In MetaMask

The device shows these steps; they are repeated here. MetaMask needs at least one wallet in the app before it can add a hardware wallet; create one if needed.

1. Open MetaMask and tap the account name at the top of the main screen.

2. Tap Add Account > Add Hardware Wallet.

3. Tap QR-based > Continue.

4. Point the phone camera at the ERA screen and hold still until MetaMask lists the accounts.

5. Tap the accounts you want to add, then confirm.

6. On the ERA, tap DONE. The device returns to the wallet SETTINGS.

Done

MetaMask shows a hardware account with your ERA Ethereum address, and the ERA is back on SETTINGS.

Trouble?

• MetaMask shows different addresses than the ERA DEPOSIT screen → MetaMask lists several derivation paths (standard and Ledger Live style); pick the one matching the ERA address. See Supported chains.

• No Add Hardware Wallet option → update MetaMask; the option lives under the account switcher.

• Scanning never completes → see Linking problems.
