Linking

Link imToken

You will haveimToken on your phone shows your ERA Ethereum account and EVM networks, and sends transactions to the ERA for signing.

Steps

Part 1: On the ERA

  1. On the wallet screen, tap the settings icon (sliders) > Link. See Open the Link menu.

  2. On the wallet list, swipe up to the second page and tap imToken.

  3. On DOWNLOAD imToken, tap the store for your phone: IOS or ANDROID.

  4. On the store page, tap NEXT. If imToken is not on your phone yet, scan the store QR with your phone first.

  5. Swipe up to the last page of CONNECT imToken.

    Connect imToken instructions, 4 steps ending with Scan the QR code from the ERA Wallet screen, and a SHOW QR button.

  6. Tap SHOW QR.

  7. QR FOR LINK appears. Leave it on screen.

Part 2: In imToken

The device shows these steps; they are repeated here. imToken needs at least one wallet in the app before it can add a hardware wallet; create one if needed.

  1. Open imToken and tap the QR scanner icon in the top-right of the main screen.

  2. Point the phone camera at the ERA screen and hold still until imToken offers to import the hardware wallet.

  3. Confirm the import in imToken.

  4. On the ERA, tap DONE. The device returns to the wallet SETTINGS.

Done

imToken shows your ERA Ethereum account, and the ERA is back on SETTINGS.

Trouble?

  • imToken opens a "pay" screen instead of importing → the scanner read a different code; hold the phone steady on the ERA QR FOR LINK screen.

  • Scanning never completes → see Linking problems.
